Hello.
The materials of the curtains are editable, but they have to remain the same material.
That means that you can make modifications to the assigned material, but you can not reassign a different material. That happens with any scalable asset in Revit that has it’s materials shown in the type properties.
If you really want to assign a different material, you will have to go to Manage tab > Object Styles > Imported Objects and under “Imports in Families” you will find the materials for each curtain “arquicurtain01_…” and you can switch the material.
